3. Abhyasa—The Practice
First of all, thank the Lord for the food and shelter you have been provided with. Then, if your window overlooks a river or a lake or a forest or a lovely garden, take a good look and observe the beauty of nature. Take a few deep breaths as if you are filling your lungs with the splendour and vitality of nature.
Then, broadcast your love to all of creation mentally and give special attention to those who are supposed to be your enemies. Think that you are filling your being with love with each inhalation and sharing it with others when you exhale.
